Hong Kong Seafood At Lei Yue Mun
If you love to eat, and exceptionally love seafood, then Lei Yue Mun (鲤鱼门) is definitely a must go place when visting Hong Kong. Located on Kowloon, Lei Yue Mun started off as a fishing village, and slowly became popular among the locals and tourists for the huge variety of seafood available.

Assorted Seafood in Lei Yue Mun
Basically what happens is that you go to a seafood market to pick the seafood you want. Then choose a preferred restaurant from the wide selection there, sit down and wait for the seafood to be brought over. Finally, decide on how you want the seafood to be cooked. (steamed, fried, baked, etc)
Lei Yue Mun is actually situated in the outskirts of Kowloon, so getting there may be of a little hassle. You can either take the MTR to Yau Tong Station then go out by Exit A2. Take the green minibus number 24 to Sam Ka Tsuen Ferry Pier. There will be signs from there on, and its about a 20min walk.
If you’re there during winter, its a nice walk down the shore. Otherwise I’d recommend taking a taxi from wherever you are. The heat can be a killer during summer time.

Yummy seafood, cooked according to your liking
Point to note, do bring along your camera when you’re going. There’s just so many things to shoot, from the fishing boats along the shores, to the coastal pathway, abundant seafood, and so much more.

Seafoods are very rich in Iodine too.:*:
